As 2017 drew to a close, PT TRG Investama held an unusual and distinctive activity: the Amazing TRGI Race.
Conceived by the CEO of PT TRG Investama, Mr Bobby Rasyidin, the event was a race staged in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Held for the first time, it was inspired by the format of a popular TV programme, in which teams work with a limited budget and face a series of obstacles as they try to be first across the finish line.
Alongside its aim of bringing the subsidiaries closer together, the Amazing TRGI Race was also designed to instil honesty, since every team had to record and report their spending throughout the journey.
The activity involved employees from all of PT TRG Investama's subsidiaries and was met with enthusiasm by well over a hundred participants. Teams were separated by age group to show the strengths of each generation, in creativity as well as experience. Ultimately those strengths and weaknesses need to work in concert to help the company grow faster in the years ahead.
