Human Capital – TRGI Group management once again held COVID-19 detection testing as a preventive measure to safeguard the health of all TRGI Group employees at Menara MTH. This round used antigen swab testing, carried out on 11 January 2021 on the 6th floor of Menara MTH.
The organising team ensured health protocols were applied throughout, so that every employee and health worker involved remained safe.
An antigen test is an immunoassay that detects the presence of specific viral antigens, indicating a current viral infection. Antigen swab tests are commonly used to diagnose respiratory pathogens such as influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and more recently to identify SARS-CoV-2.
Antigen swab results are available within 15 minutes and can quickly identify people infected with SARS-CoV-2, allowing transmission control measures to be taken immediately. If a result is positive, however, a doctor still needs to run a PCR test to confirm the diagnosis.
