Routine Serology Testing Keeps TRG Group Employees Safe and Healthy

Human Capital TRG – Within a single month, TRG Group carried out serology testing twice: on 13 August 2020 and 3 September 2020. This was a management policy adopted as a responsive, preventive step to safeguard the safety and health of all TRG Group employees at Menara MTH.

The two rounds were held at two different locations: the Indonesian Cloud meeting room and the KRI Tebet office unit.

The organising team ensured adequate health protocols were in place so that every employee and health worker involved in the testing remained safe.

A laboratory-based SARS-CoV-2 antibody serology test detects both Immunoglobulin M (IgM) and Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in the blood. A blood sample is drawn, collected into a tube and processed in the laboratory.

Results can be reactive or non-reactive. A reactive result suggests the body carries SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. Reactive antibodies do not necessarily mean the virus is currently active; antibodies can also be detected from a past infection.

COVID-19 serology testing is claimed to offer detection sensitivity of up to 100 per cent.
